For sale is one used cast iron crankshaft.

Date Code: K 7 4 (November 7, 1964)
For Chevys 1964-1967 (283ci/Cast Crank)
It was taken to our local machine shop where it was inspected, it checked out good.
The rod and main journals are both un-cut, they are standard size.
There are no spun bearings and non threaded for the balancer.
The journals are in very good condition, they have visual lines but I cannot feel any grooves on any of the journals.
The front snout is not drilled for a balancer bolt (pics), only the early high performance engines got the drilled crank. This one can be drilled and tapped by a machine shop for high performance applications.
It still has a brass pilot bearing installed that should be removed.
This crank is ready to be reground/polished and installed in your 283 engine.
